Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled 3G MIG and ARC Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in both MIG (Gas Metal Arc Welding) and ARC (Shielded Metal Arc Welding) processes and capable of welding in the vertical position (3G). This position requires attention to detail, the ability to interpret welding blueprints, and a commitment to producing high-quality welds.
Job Description
- Perform welding operations using both MIG and ARC welding processes in the 3G vertical position.
- Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine welding requirements.
- Set up welding equipment, including selecting appropriate welding tools and materials.
- Prepare welding surfaces by cleaning, grinding, and cutting as necessary.
- Weld metal components together according to specifications, ensuring proper penetration, fusion, and strength.
- Inspect welded joints to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
- Maintain welding equipment and tools in good working condition, performing routine maintenance and repairs as needed.
- Follow safety procedures and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and deadlines.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
