Urgently looking for Techno commercial General Manager for a Steel company in Ivory coast Africa.

Job Description

Business/Operations
 Ability to drive business growth within the Eastern African region. Also in cooperation
with team members ,identify,
 analyze, understand and build strategies to penetrate new Markets.
 Communicate with the stakeholders to keep them informed of the work of the
Organization and to identify changes
 Represent the company at Industry meetings and with customers and suppliers.
 Leading a team of Sales, Operations and all support functions of both the Steel Plants
 Preparation of Raw Material Plan-for SMS & Rolling Mill, Rolling Forecast from
Marketing, existing inventory in the
 plant, Raw material, WIP, FG, Scrap Management for feeding the Furnace
 Planning. Coordination for all orders related to Foundry
 Preparation of Monthly Business Plan based on Sales/Marketing Forecast /Annual
Business Plan
 Maintaining working capital of the unit & adherence to financial plan.
 Organizing and participating variety of meetings, review and communicate important
information to concerned people to meet plans
 Capacity planning based on predefined product matrix, and informing available free
capacity to sales and marketing on
 Weekly/monthly basis
 Continuous follow up on all customer orders to ensure on time delivery and to ensure
sufficient material within the specified delivery tolerance
 Coordination with QA & QC department in assessing the quality issues, conducting root-
cause analysis and implementing preventive and corrective actions
 Techno economical parameters monitoring etc
 Fluxes and consumables reviews with cost saving initiatives, Power and Fuel
consumptions reviews
 Process automation for better productivity and least manual intervention


 Attending daily operational meetings to ensure appropriate communication between the
planning section and Operation
 Review and evaluate monthly/quarterly financial reports from the Management team
 Train, Guide and develop Team. Employee engagement in cross functional departments
for better outputs
