An Aviation Loader is responsible for loading and unloading cargo, baggage, and freight onto and off aircraft, ensuring the efficient and safe handling of cargo in accordance with aviation regulations and company standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Cargo Handling:

1. Load and unload cargo, baggage, and freight onto and from aircraft using appropriate equipment, such as conveyor belts, loaders, and forklifts.


2. Ensure that cargo is properly secured and balanced in accordance with safety regulations.

Aircraft Preparation:

1. Prepare aircraft for departure by securing loose items, closing doors, and ensuring proper weight distribution.


2. Verify and confirm the accuracy of cargo manifests and documentation.

Equipment Operation:

1. Operate ground support equipment, including loaders, tugs, and forklifts, following safety procedures and guidelines.


2. Conduct routine checks and maintenance on equipment to ensure proper functioning.

Communication:

1. Communicate effectively with other ground operations personnel, pilots, and air traffic control to coordinate loading and unloading activities.


2. Report any irregularities, damages, or issues to supervisors or relevant authorities.

Safety and Security:

1. Adhere to safety and security procedures, including the proper handling of hazardous materials.


2. Follow aviation regulations and guidelines related to cargo handling and loading.

Customer Service:
